To say that this has no effect on anyone is such a lie. The awkward silence creates an illusion in our heads. It creates an image so real that by the time we realize it’s not, we start feeling an emptiness that cannot be filled by anything else. Nothing can make us feel better again.

Worse part is, it’s only Day 1. I cannot tell where things will bring me but I know how it might affect me. Right now I’m just living the moment and taking my chances. Wherever I end up at will be what my life is. And I know for sure, wherever that is, it is the way I have always wanted things to be. Cause I believe in taking chances and letting fate fall in its place.
